Main Plot
Ten years has passed since the War ended and peace has ruled the entire world. The Avatar and Fire Lord Zuko are just starting to create the United Republic and others are inventing new creations that will change the world forever. However, not everyone is pleased with what is happening. A Rebellion has quietly started to take form, trying to return things to the way they were. The Fire Nation side are very quickly gaining power with the help of the Water Tribes and a few from the Earth Kingdom. Others are worried that another war will break out soon and are pleading with the Avatar to stop the Rebellion.
Then out of nowhere, Aang and the rest of the Gang disappear, leaving Iroh and a few trusted others to continue with the United Republic. They are trying to keep the Rebllion at bay but with the Avatar gone with no explaination, tensions have built up very fast and very strong.
When will Aang and the others return?
Why did they leave?
Which side will you choose?
Sub-Plot 1
Aang and the rest of the Gaang have diappeared. Though not nessecarily for bad reasons, Katara is expecting her first child as is Suki. Zuko and Mai are going to have a private wedding very soon. Toph has been involved with someone for a couple years now as well.
But not everything is perfect. Aang and Katara are having problems and Katara seems to have a secret that only she knows. Sokka doesn't seem as interested in Suki anymore, which is causing her major stress. All Zuko can talk about is going back to help with the United Republic. Was all of this bound to happen or is something else going on?
Sub-Plot 2
Eight years ago, Princess Azula escaped from the Boiling Rock with another prisoner named Akuma and the help of a group of her father's old followers. She showed herself a couple of times shortly after before completely vanishing. A massive manhunt was started and lasted for two years with no success. To stop any panic from starting, it was announced that Azula and Akuma were found dead.
Now there is talk that the two are alive. So far, this is just a rumor but the Rebellion have already sent out people to help search for them. With the Gaang gone themselves, will the two wanted prisoners reveal themselves to stir things up even more?

This all sounds pretty good, but what exactly is this rebellion made of? Is it of Nationalists who don't want to be part of a united Republic? And if so, how cohesively do they work together? Who's running this New Republic? but I do like the two subplots.^^

The sub-plots are supposed to be ...narrow-ish. I have others that I'm working on as well that are more broad. Just thought it'd be good for anyone wishing to be Canons to have an idea of where and what everyone has been up to.
I put the United Republic in because that is what is in Korra's generation. I was thinking that the Rebellion could be made up of a little of everything, basically people who just want things back the way they were. They will be somewhat orgainized but for the most part still trying to get plans made. Which is where the Originals come in, they get to decide what happens with the Rebellion.
How does that sound? |

Basically, original characters are dealing with a changing world, and one that seems on the brink of civil war. An OC could play a Nationalist, or a defender of the New Republic, or possibly even be nuetral. They could decide to fight, to look for the missing Avatar and Firelord, or merely try to make their way in the world as it changes.

I have a few questions about this plot. Apologies in advance if I sound a bit critical. I've just been a little hard pressed in finding info on the site, looks like you just reset it.
First, What, Where, and Why is there a rebellion?
What is the state of the world, from what I've heard the it sounds like the whole world is the United Republic, am I correct? From what I understand the UR is just a city.
How and why does the whole gang disappear? It seems like they're needed more than ever?
Could you explain the War Stats factions?
